When the patterns keep showing up

Maybe you are having the same argument again. Maybe conversations turn tense, defensive, or quiet before anyone feels heard.

You may be carrying unresolved hurt, emotional distance, resentment, or the weight of trying to hold everything together. You may know something needs to change but feel unsure where to begin.

Repair Room Therapy supports couples, individuals, and co-parents who are navigating:

  • Recurring conflict and communication breakdowns that leave you feeling unheard, disconnected, or alone.

  • Relationship patterns and emotional wounds that make it difficult to trust yourself, speak up, set boundaries, or feel secure in connection.

  • Tense co-parenting or family transitions that make everyday decisions, routines, and communication feel heavier than they should.

You do not have to minimize what is happening before asking for support.

A place to slow down and understand what matters.

You are the expert on your life and relationships. Repair Room Therapy is here to offer a calm, compassionate space to help you understand what is happening beneath the surface and consider a healthier path forward.

I’m Nicole Kelly, M.S., LMFT, founder of Repair Room Therapy. I offer relationship-centered therapy for individuals, couples, and co-parents in Charlotte and throughout North Carolina.

My work is warm, attachment-based, practical, and nonjudgmental. Together, we can explore the patterns affecting your relationships, make room for emotional processing, and build tools for clearer communication, stronger boundaries, and healthier connection.

For couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners identify the cycle that keeps them stuck and create new ways of reaching for and responding to one another. For individuals and co-parents, I help clients move toward greater clarity, self-trust, emotional safety, and more sustainable ways of relating.
